KING Art Media has released a new gameplay trailer for The Dwarves this morning, their new battle-centric RPG. Due out originally for PC this Summer and consoles in Fall, KING Art has announced that they are delaying the launch slightly until Fall. This will be to ensure all community feedback gets implemented as well as have a simultaneous release on both PC and consoles.
Development on The Dwarves is mostly complete: all characters are ready, the story is done, the voice-acting is finished, the orchestra and the chorus have performed their art and Girdlegard, the game’s world, shines in all its splendor. It is available now on the Steam store wishlist, but consoles have not yet have the game up for pre-order.
The trailer below gives a much farther, in depth look into the gameplay and physics based battle system. Remember, your surroundings play a big part in The Dwarves. Hits will not only knock enemies backward, but they can also be knocked into your character from a teammate’s strike. This will cause your character to be knocked off balance and your attack to go wayward. No exact release date has been announced, but The Dwarves will hit both PC and consoles this Fall.
