Splitgate developers are teasing a new game

1047 Games, the developers behind Splitgate have put out a new video that teases what’s coming next. The new video is titled “Say Goodbye to Splitgate” and it’s under a minute of a player going around the Hall of Fame looking at the lasting memories of Splitgate. 

At the end of the video, a portal opens up, signaling there is a next chapter and it will likely be a sequel. If you didn’t know about Splitgate, it’s a first-person shooter inspired by Halo and Portal. 1047 Games did tease almost two years ago they are focusing on a brand new game within the Splitgate universe. 

Splitgate had its peak moments by receiving a $100 million investment to help it fund its esports scene and development team going toward the future. 1047’s title was always a nice backup for those into first-person shooter games like Halo, Call of Duty, Overwatch, and many others.
