Borderlands 4 will be announced at Summer Game Fest

It has been known that 2K Games will reveal the next installment of its biggest and most beloved franchise at Summer Game Fest on Friday, June 7. It was believed that 2K Games would reveal the next iteration of the Mafia series or even Bioshock, but surprisingly, it will be Borderlands 4.

Insider Kurakasis has made it known via eXputer’s contacts that 2K will reveal the first-ever look at Borderlands 4 during Summer Game Fest. The insider also makes it known there is a chance of the game being announced ahead of the event.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Borderlands 4 came out soon since the Borderlands Movie is set to arrive in theaters this August. There will likely be a lot of surprises to look forward to this Friday when Geoff Keighley takes the stage on his annual Summer Showcase.

Last year, rumors regarding Borderlands 4 started thanks to a voice actor, and an announcement was expected to come then.
