Limited Run Games Announces Its ‘LRG3 2024’ Showcase, Set For June 20th

In the ongoing market downpour of endless digital purchases, some firms continue to forge more surface area for physical media in gaming. Of course, one of the largest efforts comes from Limited Run Games. For instance, it is fueling this endeavor for Xbox titles including Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush & Pentiment most recently.

Additionally, the firm also offers partnered Collector’s Editions for select titles. We’ve witnessed this with the likes of Persona 4 Golden, Dead Space Remake, as well as Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. The most recent instance of this is for the highly-acclaimed sequel, Alan Wake 2 which just revealed a physical release is on the way later this fall.

On Wednesday, Limited Run Games announced that it is to be hosting its annual ‘LRG3’ showcase next week, June 20th. As you might expect, plans for this presentation will include announcements on upcoming games, new limited runs, and updates on confirmed games scheduled to release with a physical version.

“LRG3 2024 airs on Thursday, June 20th at 2pm ET / 11am PT. Come preview some of our biggest upcoming physical and digital releases in 2024 and beyond,” Limited Run Games writes in the announcement post on X. However, there is no clear indicator on which titles will be featured at the scheduled showcase coming next Thursday.

One long-awaited game still yet to be properly supported is Hi-Fi Rush. Although it was confirmed the game is to be featured by the firm, a concrete date for pre-orders has yet to be made. Adding on to Tango Gameworks projects, its previous release Ghostwire: Tokyo has still yet to welcome a physical version on Xbox. With the team closed, it would be welcomed at least that title was added as well.
