Nintendo kicked off it’s Treehouse event with the long awaited Zelda title launching on both Wii U and Nintendo’s upcoming platform NX. The name was finally dropped as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As the title suggests, the game seems to feature Link exploring the wild, while performing some tasks like hunting, cooking, and even mountain climbing. The game is a huge departure from Zelda titles of old, with a vast open world to explore in however way you want, and what seems to be the first title in the series to feature full voice acting. More gameplay should kick off during the Treehouse event today, so we’ll be sure to get some more goodness later on. For now, check out the official gameplay trailer below.
