Black Myth: Wukong reached over 2 million concurrent players on Steam

Black Myth: Wukong is off to a tremendous start since it was released on August 20 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. After just a few hours of its release, Black Myth: Wukong reached over 1.7 Million concurrent players on Steam and just a few days later the game has reached higher numbers.

As of August 23, 2024, Black Myth: Wukong’s all-time peak on Steam is sitting at 2,415,714 and this is before the game heads into its first weekend since its release. We may see the concurrent player count go up even higher.

This all-time peak is higher than Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Palworld and many more. This comes as a surprise for some that a single-player title would reach such a high player count.

Black Myth: Wukong is still planned to come to Xbox, but Game Science delayed the Xbox Series version with no release window announced yet.
