It has been over a year since Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games released Hogwarts Legacy and now it seems more content is planned for the game. It has been reported by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson that a Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition is currently in development.
The outlet reports that the Definitive Edition’s content will be sold as a separate DLC for those who already own the game. With this, there is going to be about 10-15 hours of new content with new side quests, a new story quest, outfits, and more.
Tom Henderson suggests the Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition will be released in 2025 to help the diminishing gaming revenue that Warner Bros. has been experiencing. Hogwarts Legacy has been a positive for the publisher since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has not met expectations.
As always with reports like this we must take them with a grain of salt. Warner Bros. has not officially announced this and pricing for this new DLC has not been revealed.
Warner Bros. has recently stated that a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is a priority, but it is still years away from happening.
