Dambuster Studios and Depp Silver have announced that their first-person action zombie slaying RPG, Dead Island 2 has officially reached 10 million players since its launch on April 21, 2023. The milestone was reached on the same day Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition launched, offering a free upgrade to all Gold Edition owners, giving access to all the content Hell-A has to offer.

The Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition includes the base game, HAUS, and SoLA – Dead Island 2’s story expansions. It also includes cosmetics and deadly weapons.

Deep Silver also announced there will be free playable trial versions of Dead Island 2 on Xbox and PlayStation storefronts. This will allow players to try out a limited session in both single-player and co-op. Your saved progress from the trial will transfer to the full version once you purchase the game.
