With the reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 and a tease of what appears to be Mario Kart 9, speculation has arisen regarding other upcoming games. This week on Newegg’s Nintendo eShop $50 Gift Card listing it showed a list of games including a couple we haven’t heard about.
Before being taken down, the Newegg listing showed Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, New 3D Mario, New Mario Kart, A Legend of Zelda Remake/Remaster, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and Pokemon Legends Z-A.

We know some of these games are real aside from the new 3D Mario title and a Legend of Zelda Remaster. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Nintendo release another 3D Mario game for the Switch 2 within its first year. The Legend of Zelda remaster may involve an upgraded Breath of the Wild to utilize the power of the Switch 2.
Nintendo Switch 2 Direct
We will likely get an idea during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct this April to determine if this would become true. The Switch 2 Direct will take place on April 2, 2025, with no time revealed yet for the show. We expect to see the console pre-orders get released that day along with many more games showcased.
