Together, they unraveled the sinister truths behind the Oct-Geneses and dismantled Almata’s operations. However, their victory left many lingering mysteries—chief among them the true nature of the Oct-Geneses and the unknown forces that had been pulling the strings from the shadows.

Set in the year 1209 of the Septian Calendar, Trails through Daybreak II begins in a period of apparent peace following Almata’s defeat. However, this tranquility is shattered when a CID (Central Intelligence Department) special forces unit is brutally massacred by an unidentified assailant—a monstrous crimson beast.
