Wolfenstein TV Series is in development at Amazon

Amazon has been on a hot streak of producing some of the best TV Series as of late. In 2024, it produced the Fallout TV Series, which turned out to be the best the platform has seen. Season 2 of the Fallout show has been in production, and a release could be announced any day.

Variety revealed that a TV series adaptation of the Wolfenstein video game series is in development at Amazon MGM Studios. No details regarding the plot have been shared yet.

The outlet reports that Patrick Somerville will serve as the creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the project. While Jonah Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham will executive produce via Kilter Films. James Altman of Keyframe Films and Jerk Gustafsson from the Wolfenstein developer, MachineGames, will also executive produce the TV show.

No other details were reported, and Bethesda has not announced the project itself yet.

The focus right now is likely on Season 2 of Fallout, which is expected to premiere in December. The show was also renewed for Season 3 already since the first season performed extremely well.
