PopCap Studios and Electronic Arts announced Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted during today’s Nintendo Direct. The fan favorite backyard brawler is returning with a remastered edition, reviving what players remember of the original from 2009 on PC and macOS.
Plants vs. Zombies Replanted will release on October 23, 2025, on PC via Epic Games Store, Steam, and EA app, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are available today. Those who pre-order will receive a Peashooter 8-bit skin.
The game will cost $19.99 on all platforms.
Replanted will take players back to the yard where it all started. It combines strategic action-packed battles and all-new game modes with never-before-seen elements of franchise history, PopCap says.
