astro bot joyful dualsense

It has been a year since Team Asobi and Sony Interactive Entertainment released Astro Bot on PlayStation 5. When it was released, they also came out with a limited edition controller that resembled the iconic robot.

Sony announced a new Astro Bot DualSense controller, now called Joyful. This controller is similar to the first one but features a more joyful expression in the eyes.

Pre-orders for the Astro Bot Joyful DualSense go live on September 12 on PlayStation Direct and select retailers. It will officially launch on October 30, 2025. The cost of the controller has not been revealed but it’d likely be the same as the original, which was $79.99.

The good news about any new DualSense from Sony is that it shouldn’t have a price increase like the consoles recently had.
