
The Pokémon franchise continues to display its burning flame is showing no time of fizzling out in 2025. Later this year, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set to release on both Nintendo Switch devices. Additionally, The Pokémon Company has continued to send out additional updates on the new title like the addition of Mega Malamar to the game just this week.
Previously, there have been other release related to Pokémon as well. Came the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, there was a proper hardware enhancement for both Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet that enhanced the performance up to 60hz. And during this summer, The Pokémon Company also rolled out new Pokémon Friends mobile game bringing new puzzles to its players.
From the Nintendo Direct this Friday, Nintendo alongside Game Freak & Koei Tecmo revealed Pokémon Pokopia for Nintendo Switch 2. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
“Play as a Ditto – who has transformed to look like a human – to shape an empty land into a beautiful space for a variety of Pokémon. Learn new moves from Pokémon you meet to expand and create a paradise. Collect berries, rocks and wood, build furniture, grow vegetables in fields you’ve tilled, create homes for Pokémon you meet, and more!” the description for Pokémon Pokopia reads.
During the Nintendo Direct presentation, Game Freak also showcased more details on Pokémon Legends: Z-A. In that, the first major expansion for the game ‘Mega Dimension’ is to be a premium paid DLC.
