
The Fire Emblem series has been on a good high since the release of Fire Emblem: Three Horses. “Fire Emblem: Three House’s makes some big changes, but in re-inventing itself has found a way to create something new and fresh. A great game for veterans, some additions to ease a new audience, and one of the turn based tactical games in a series full of some already,” our 9.5/10 review for the game reads.
Similarly, reception for spin-off Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes was to the same degree as well. “Fire Emblem: Three Hopes isn’t a mere Warriors spin-off. It’s a true fusion of two different styles merging to make something new and great. […] Omega Force did a great of bringing these characters to life and beloved story to life. Even as a stout Three Houses fan, they did that game justice, while elevating their own gameplay and style to new levels,” our review reads.
Now closing the Nintendo Direct presentation on Friday, Nintendo officially unveiled Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
“The Heroic Games have begun. The newest entry in the Fire Emblem series is set to enter the arena. The debut trailer provided a glimpse of the intertwining story, characters and turn-based tactical RPG gameplay that awaits players,” the press release offers. There were no additional details on what other additions will be applicable to the new entry.
“Who’s that at the end of the trailer?” the description for the trailer on YouTube teases for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Fans are easily able to point out that Sothis from Fire Emblem: Three Horses is in the trailer. Also, the Crests from the 2019 title alongside The Hero’s Relic also makes an appearance in the footage too.
