All Three Monster Hunter Stories Titles Are Coming To Xbox

For the longest time, Japanese-oriented titles typically skipped on releasing for Xbox. Although the platform has shipped select & bespoke releases on its platform over time, it’s too far and few compared to Nintendo & PlayStation. However, things have been taking a new trajectory in recent years. Already, we see moving pieces with Square Enix.

Previously, the publisher shared its commitment to the platform as multiplatform efforts continue to proceed for the firm. Additionally, titles such as Final Fantasy VII Remake is on the way while other titles like Octopath Traveler II & Visions of Mana already shipped on the Xbox Store. Other publishers like Capcom are also shifting gears for Xbox. The latest Street Fighter after being a PlayStation 4 exclusive also hit Xbox upon release previously as well.

Now at Tokyo Game Show, Capcom revealed during the Xbox livestream that Monster Hunter Stories – the complete trilogy – will be coming to Xbox. Already, the third installment ‘Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection’ was confirmed for Xbox. But now the first two releases will come as well. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“The latest entry in the series, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, will be available on March 13, 2026. In a surprise announcement, we also say the announcement that the first entry, Monster Hunter Stories, and its sequel, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, will both be available on Xbox from November 14, 2025,” the press release reads.
