In the blog post on Halo Waypoint, it is hinted that Halo Studios has multiple projects in the works, as previous reports shared from insiders. Here is what the quote shared from the studio:
As the Halo Studios team shifts focus to in-development projects such as Halo: Campaign Evolved, we’d like to thank our Halo Infinite players for years of steadfast support.
As previous reports shared, the other rumored projects that Halo Studios is working on are a multiplayer-only Halo game and the next mainline title. However, the studio has not hinted at any of this just yet.
2026 will be a big year of celebration for Halo as it will mark 25 years since the franchise started, hence the perfect timing of Halo: Campaign Evolved. This will also be the first time Halo will be playable on a PlayStation console. Halo Fest is also returning next December, featuring a two-day event in Seattle.
Operation: Infinite comes to Halo Infinite on November 18, which introduces a 2X boost on Career Rank and SP, a 100-tier Operation Pass, eight earnable armor sets, new Ranked Seasons, and 200 never-before-released customizations arriving in The Exchange.
Halo Infinite was released in 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
