PS5 has shipped 84.2 million units, Ghost of Yotei sold 3.3 million copies

Sony announced in its latest financial results ending on September 30, 2025, that PlayStation 5 has shipped a total of 84.2 million units worldwide. 3.9 million PS5 units were shipped during the three months ending on September 30.

Sony Interactive Entertainment also announced that its biggest release of the year, Ghost of Yotei, has now sold 3.3 million copies as of November 2, 2025.

The company also revealed there are 119 million monthly active users on PlayStation Network, which is up three million from the same period last fiscal year.

PS5 and PS4 software sold a combined 80.3 million units during the three months ending on September 30, 2025. 72 percent of software sales were full game software digital downloads, which is up two percent.
