At The Game Awards, Capcom shared some exciting news regarding its popular IPs. In one corner, Mega Man was present at the show when unveiling Mega Man: Dual Override. Just this week, Capcom addressed that it will be focusing on its legacy series to bring them back into the spotlight. Franchises like Mega Man & Devil May Cry were spoken of especially.
Additionally, an IP famous for an entirely different reason, was also present at The Game Awards: Pragmata. Announced all the way back in 2020, the game has been in development more than many anticipated. It has faced delays, of course, back in 2022. And, it was in 2023 that the game would be delayed once more – this time with no given date or window to expect to release.
Now at the show on Thursday, Capcom confirmed Pragmata will officially ship in April 2026. Alike Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata will ship at launch for Nintendo Switch 2 as well. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“Players can jump into the world of Pragmata with the Sketchbook Demo. This free public demo provides the opportunity to experience the title’s immersive setting and thrilling gameplay at home for the first time. The Pragmata Sketchbook Demo also includes fun extra surprises to challenge players and encourage repeat playthroughs.” Capcom also addressed pre-orders are live for Pragmata.
