The continuous range that No Man’s Sky reaches for is commendable to say the least. The past few update have only further established that. In March last year, we saw the ‘Relics’ update welcome aspects like skeletal customization, bartering, and digsite adventures. Additionally, the following ‘Beacon’ update in June added Nintendo Switch 2 support alongside new multi-planet settlement responsibilities.

Then after in the ‘Voyagers’ update, No Man’s sky was met with the addition of space auto-pilot, multiplayer crews, and skydiving which only deepened what the systems for this came can offer. Not to mention the latest update which came in October 2025 offered. The ‘Breach’ update introduced space wrecks, salvaging, and ghost ships: expanding the depths of space which was already so rich in No Man’s Sky.

Which comes to this new update that goes live today. Hello Games on Wednesday has rolled out the new ‘Remnant’ update. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“An array of different cabins, chassis attachments, running gear and paint finishes allow you to kit out your vehicle for any situation. Design, save, and name a variety of Colossus Exocraft configurations suitable for a range of planetary adventures!” Hello Games pens for its new emphasis on customization for land vehicles in No Man’s Sky.

“Planets with salvageable scrap are now also laden with industrial waste, distributed across the planet in small piles and large heaps,” the synopsis for new waste management feature will offer. “Gather this debris with the Gravitino Coil and return it to a Waste Processing Plant to cleanse planets, salvage materials, and earn rewards!” This paired with the new gravity gun added in Remnant brings a new layer of depth to the experience.

“A new type of facility, the Waste Processing Plant, is now established on scrap worlds. These industrial centres offer opportunities for scrap-hunters to extract materials and earn rewards for stripping planets of industrial waste. Specialised processing units safely contain and dispose of radioactive, explosive and toxic materials,” the team added.
