Nearly a year ago, Warhorse Studios blessed the video game world with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The game went on to be nominated for Game of the Year. In our review, Rectify Gaming expressed the title to “offers a profound and authentic medieval experience, building upon the foundation of its predecessor. The game’s dedication to historical accuracy and immersive storytelling is commendable.”

The history behind the IP certainly faced some good faith with the firm being acquired by THQ Nordic back in 2019. This set the foundation for an ambitious vision to find success with backing from a major conglomerate publisher. And it did as of this past spring. The sequel then reported over 3 million copies sold in just a few short months while the original release exceeded over 10 million units.

Now with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II now recorded to sell over five million as per this week, Warhorse Studios also announced that the first release is also live for Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 as well. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“I’m incredibly proud to see Kingdom Come: Deliverance II reach this monumental milestone. I want to thank everyone at Warhorse Studios, our publishing partners at PLAION and of course, it wouldn’t be possible without our amazing and ever growing community. Thank you for being part of this journey and making this a reality,” Warhorse Studios CEO Martin Frývaldský shared.

“The next-gen update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available to download for existing owners and available for purchase on digital stores now. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is also now available to play for all Game Pass subscribers, featuring the next-gen update enhancements.” You can read the full list of Xbox Game Pass titles featured along this by heading here.
