The Super Mario Galaxy Movie receives final trailer

Today, Nintendo and Illumination held the final direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, revealing the final trailer. What was also revealed were the voice actors for some of the other characters, including Yoshi.

The final trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie features Rosalina and the adventures Team Mario goes on. Bowser Jr. also takes over Princess Peach’s Castle, which is a little different from the first Mario Galaxy game.

Yoshi Voice Actor

The voice actor for Yoshi was revealed to be Donald Glover (Mufasa, The Lion King, Spider-Man Homecoming). 

Luis Guzman will be the voice of Wart, and Issa Rae will voice Honey Queen. These aren’t necessarily important characters in the movie, but they might be a throwback for longtime Mario fans, including Wart.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will come to theaters on April 1, 2026.
