PowerWash Simulator 2 Adds New ‘Caldera Chronicles’ Job In Free Update, Adventure Time DLC Slated For Next Month

While simulator titles have remained an enticing genre to indulge in, there hasn’t been one that grasped as many so easily as PowerWash Simulator. The release came fast and its charmed stuck to millions of players since then. The same can also be said for its countless DLCs: Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, SpongeBob, Back to the Future, Santa Claus, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek, and Wallace & Gromit.

In 2025, developer FuturLab properly announced a follow-up would be coming: PowerWash Simulator 2. As expected, new levels and avenues to clean grimy surfaces with pressurized water was a given. But, the team came out of left field confirming co-op would be implemented in the sequel. And in October this fall, Power Wash Simulator 2 officially released. 

For its first major addition to the game, FuturLab in the new Update 1.2 for PowerWash Simulator 2 released a new job for free – miniature village ‘Caldera Chronicles’. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Update 1.2 for PowerWash Simulator 2, introducing the first entry in the Caldera Chronicles alongside a host of player-requested features, fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. The update launches alongside a brand-new trailer showcasing the Miniature Village, a free new job available to all players,” the team wrote in the press release.

FuturLab also recently confirmed that the first major paid expansion is coming on April 9th: Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time. “Officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the Pack brings the whimsical world of Adventure Time into the calming universe of PowerWash Simulator 2, and invites players to grab their adventuring gear and tackle a series of mucky jobs inspired by iconic locations from the animated series.”

The DLC will feature five maps to experience: Tree House Living Room; Pizza Sassy’s; Ice King’s Castle; Candy Vehicles; Tree House. ”Each location has been faithfully recreated and merged with PowerWash Simulator 2’s signature satisfying gameplay. Players will restore order across these fan favourite environments using custom Adventure Time–themed cosmetics and a bespoke player character model – the Royal Candy Cleaner.”
