Life is Strange TV Series to start filming in June 2026

The Life is Strange TV series was announced to be in the works with Amazon Prime in late 2025. A new report has come out from Midgard Times that the Life is Strange TV series will begin filming on June 29, 2026.

The filming for the TV series will take place in Vancouver, BC, Canada, a popular spot for many TV shows and movies. It’s expected that filming for the Life is Strange TV series will wrap up on October 16, 2026. The show will feature just six episodes in its first season at least.

Casting for the remaining characters is still ongoing, it’s claimed, with everything in pre-production. In the coming weeks, we should learn the casting for the main characters as the production date gets closer.

Life is Strange follows Max Caufield, a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe. The series began in January 2025, and its original release remains among the most popular in the series. It was developed by Dontnod Entertainment, but now the development of the video game series has been handed over to Deck Nine Games.

Amazon Prime has received a positive reputation since producing the Fallout TV Series, which remains a fan favorite show.
