Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo is out now on Switch 2 and Xbox Series

Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S.

All save data from the demo will carry over to the full game when it releases on June 3, 2026. If you keep the save data, you can claim a kupo charm and a survival set containing helpful items.

The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo allows you to play and explore up to Chapter 2. It’s similar to how the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Demo worked.

Pre-orders for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are live now with digital bonuses available. Those who pre-order the game on Switch 2 will get a 1x Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy “Zack Fair” card, featuring art by Tetsuya Nomura.

On Nintendo Switch 2, the demo is a total of 45 GB. Make sure to keep enough space open in your storage.
