Destiny – Possible Siva Infections Spreading

On the 15th of September there was a early morning hour and a half long maintenance on the Destiny servers. 14 hours ago people started getting transmitted or what the community is calling “infected” with these buffs that increase xp and rep gains while the transmission is in place. Twitch streamers who got infected on stream would get a message in the chat from a bot that led to a website known as owlsector.bungie.net/#en telling Guardians to stay calm as they’re investigating the situation. Of course this is not actually an alert, there aren’t any red flags, this is a Pre Rise of Iron event that seems to be connected to Siva in some way.
After the first few hours of the site being up a new section of the site unlocked,(http://owlsector.bungie.net/archive.html#en) this lead to lines of dialogue from Guardians who first discovered that people were getting infected. Later showing that Cayde thought it was nothing to worry about and to let Guardians to run around and have fun with it, Ikora and Zavala did not share that opinion. Guardians were then quarantined to stop the possible spread of the virus, a Cryptarch had the job of researching first had what was wrong with the Guardians and what the source of the infection was.
Each hour the website gets an update with the latest update to the pie chart showing which version of the transmission ( Brilliance 3.2, Glory 2.1, Splendor 2.6, Magnificence 2.0, and Fortitude 3.1 ) is infecting players. Brilliance 3.2 is ahead of the other transmissions at at a point was 50% of all the infections people had, but now the other transmissions are catching up to that number. Hopefully at the end of all of this there is something in game related to Siva for players to do before Rise of Iron, you know, to increase the hype and to keep Guardians sane for 5 more days.
