Playground Games announced today that Forza Horizon 6 has officially reached over 6 million players since its worldwide release on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Forza Horizon 6 has become the highest-rated game of the series, tying Forza Horizon 5. However, the player base online has shown significant improvements over the last title’s release on Steam, at least. During its Early Access stage for Premium Edition buyers, Forza Horizon 6 reached over 1 million players within a day and had over 180K concurrent players on PC.
When it released on Tuesday for everyone, the concurrent player count on Steam rose above 270K.

Xbox Game Studios has more games coming this year. Next is rumored to be Halo: Campaign Evolved, followed by Gears of War: E-Day and Fable. There could be even more announced at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase.
