PlayStation has been working its way into more conventional gaming peripherals with its INZONE line for a few years. Last fall, Rectify Gaming got its hands on some of the products like the ‘H9 II Gaming Headset’. “Overall, the Sony Inzone H9 II Gaming Headset is outstanding, offering exceptional comfort, design, and performance,” the review reads. “The price isn’t bad at all if you are looking for something that will last you a long time, which also provides a good experience.”
Additionally, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced new peripherals that share the broader PlayStation branding. Such as the FlexStrike fight stick that is on the way. With the firm being the direct owner of EVO, it only makes sense a branded fight stick is being made. It also unveiled the Pulse Elevate speakers that bleeds into the PC market as well which PlayStation has invested heavily into.
Earlier in June, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed that both the FlexStrike as well as the new PlayStation 27” Gaming Monitor are both set to release later this August. Both accessories are also now live for pre-order on PlayStation Direct. You can watch the new feature trailers in the videos below:
“It’s built for PS5 and PC* and is designed with competitive play and portability in mind. With an included sling carry case and a built-in rechargeable battery, it’s easy to bring your fight stick to a tournament, meetup, or a friend’s place to jump right into the action,” Sony Interactive Entertainment vice president of global marketing Isabelle Tomatis says for the FlexStrike.
Adding for the PlayStation 27” Gaming Monitor: “We’ve continued to see more players playing games outside of the living room – especially in personal spaces and on desktop gaming setups. The 27’’ Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook is built for players who want a high-quality display experience beyond the living room TV. It features a 27-inch QHD IPS display (2560×1440) with VRR, supporting up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on a compatible PC or Mac.”
The PlayStation Blog post also follows up on the Pulse Elevate speakers. The accessory currently still does not have a release date, but is still slated to ship in 2026. “We’ll have more information to share soon, including the suggested retail price and when pre-order begins,” Tomatis wrote.
