Ring in the New Year with a new #Forzathon event series in Forza Horizon 3

The teams at Turn 10 and Playground Studios love giving Forza fans something to do over the weekend, whether it’s some regular set of races or celebrating the birthdays of the founders of some of the most prestigious car companies in the world. This weekend, to celebrate New Year’s, the teams have published another triplet of challenges and a sale for the car lovers in Forza Horizon 3 in the latest #Forzathon event series
The New Year Celebration #Forzathon starts today and will run for the usual two-day period. The theme of this weekend’s events is the new 2017 model year, with them being the stars of two of the three races as well as the sale. We’ll do a rundown of the races and sales so you can get right into them and know what to do.
The New Hotness race tasks players with beating a Rival with any of the 2017 cars they own. Simple, quick, and an easy 20,000 credits. In Fresh Beginnings, players in any 2017 car will have to complete an Online Race to win three free wheelspins, which are always a fun surprise. The oddball race, Auld Lang Syne, stars any Bentley car and to earn the 20,000 credit prize, players must win five Head-to-Head races.
I know the best part of any #Forzathon is the car discounts, and so does the Forza team. The sale, aptly named Happy New Gear!, offers players 30% off all the 2017 cars they have access to in the Autoshow, including the cars from DLC and car packs they own. This is a great way to close out the year, and it’s an even better excuse to play Forza Horizon 3.
