Last weekend, Forza Horizon 3 players were given a chance to win a new Subaru in-game as part of the latest #Forzathon set of events and challenges. As was discovered by players Friday afternoon, the car was not being granted when the challenge to earn it was completed. Now, the Forza team has released an update to remedy the problem.
The fix comes in the form of a new update for the game on both Xbox One and Windows 10 systems. The update will grant players who completed the challenge to earn the Subaru their car. As Forza’s Brian Ekberg mentions on the official Forza forums, players who missed this set of #Forzathon events or didn’t complete the challenge will have chances in the future.
Ekberg finishes the post by saying that players should keep an eye out for “more details soon”, so we may see more in store for Horizon players in the way of cars and #Forzathon goodies. Be sure to stay tuned if anything changes and we learn anything new on the situation.
