Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be released in 2017 in Japan for the Nintendo Switch

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was one of the few Switch games announced last night at the presentation that didn’t get a release date.  However, the official Japanese website has slated the game for 2017. This listing is notably absent from the international websites, perhaps suggesting we’ll have to wait until 2018 to get our hands on the game.
The insane release gap wouldn’t be a first for the Xenoblade series that’s for sure.
