Star Wars Battlefront 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor by employing the use of dedicated servers, which was confirmed on Twitter by the game’s associate design director. Dennis Brannvall from DICE also revealed that the much-anticipated sci-fi shooter will not present the same level of freedom as Star Wars Battlefront’s Star Cards as far as its class system is concerned, but made it clear that “you can definitely customize your trooper class quite drastically to suit your playstyle.”

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on November 17, 2017. The game is already looking to address many of the criticisms aimed at the original game.
