To be part of the new Extended Ops free update for Ghost Wars, Ubisoft will be adding the game’s own version of loot boxes called Battle Crates.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands brought new options for customization over the 11 title updates brought to Wildlands for the past 10 months the game has been out, and now they introduce Battle Crates as another way to access new cosmetics for your ghost in both single player campaign and Ghost Wars PVP.
Players will receive a Spec Ops and Ghost Wars Crate via Ubisoft Club. Then for those who want to purchase more crates will have to pay 400 Store Credits. Each crate contains three items and you will never receive the same item twice.
Spec Ops Crates contain weapons based on a tier system:

  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary

And will also include vehicles and “tons of cosmetic items for you to enjoy”. And all will be able to access for campaign mode.
Ghost War Crates will carry reskinned weapons that doesn’t affect the weapon’s stats, primarily for visual aesthetic. And also customization items for your ghost and exclusive skins known as Costume Icons.
