Valve has announced that they will be launching two new free apps to both Android and iOS in the upcoming weeks, but what has really grabbed fans attentions is the new Steam Link App.
Steam Link will allow players to stream their games to their phones, tablets, TVs, and phones if compatible. It will require players to either have a 5Ghz Wi-Fi network or wired ethernet connection to a PC or Mac running Steam to play games on your portable devices. And will support MFI controllers, the Steam Controller and other not named devices.
Steam Link will be available to download on May 21st and the second app Steam Video will be available later this summer, which allows users to watch shows or movies purchased via Steam on Android & iOS devices.
