On August 20th, 2018, developer and publisher Gears for Breakfast announced that their title “A Hat in Time” will be released for the Nintendo Switch.
Gears for Breakfast did not give a release date, but they do promise that the game will be “coming soon” to the Switch.
A Hat in Time is a platformer that was released on PC on October 5th, 2017. The game was very well-received and drew comparisons to Banjo-Kazooie and Mario 64.
This news is a great thing for Switch owners that need to scratch the platforming itch after going through games such as “Super Mario: Odyssey” and “Celeste.”

Gears for Breakfast also announced that free DLC entitled Seal the Deal will be coming to PC on September 13th.
