The originally released GameCube title, Luigi’s Mansion will be making a comeback with a Nintendo 3DS remake.

Returning to the still active 3DS, fans will be able to enjoy the memorable classic once again with a flashlight in hand and a Poltergust 3000 on your back.

Features that will be coming with its 3DS debut includes portability, ability to view the map on the touch screen, and a new Gallery Battle mode. Allowing players to revisit and fight the ghost bosses they’ve encountered before.

While this is nice to see the Nintendo 3DS is still getting attention, many fans are confused and even angry seeing the nostalgic title not getting a Switch release. This along with Persona Q2 shows Nintendo’s loyalty to the platform is still present. For when we might see the game come to the Nintendo Switch is unknow, but it will be a big impact if it ever does happen.

Luigi’s Mansion will be available for Nintendo 3DS on October 12, 2018.
