Earlier this week Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines confirmed that we should expect an update on when the upcoming online beta for Fallout 76 will be arriving. In the latest trailer for the anticipated Bethesda title, the B.E.T.A will be coming first to Xbox on October 23, 2018.
The trailer posted featured the in-game intro for 76, giving some detail of the game’s universe before entering the wasteland set in West Virginia. Ending with information regarding the online beta, referring to the Bethesda FAQ for more details on the upcoming playtest.
For those who plan on getting their hands on the beta for PlayStation 4 and PC will have to wait until October 30 for their turn as Xbox One owners get a week head start. As it was stated previously, the Break It Early Test Application is exclusive to those who pre-ordered the game. Bethesda disclosed that there are now plans for an open beta.
Mentioned in the game’s FAQ, you will need to reserve at least 45 GBs to download the beta. For those who plan on getting ahead on downloading the beta will be disappointed as there isn’t an option to pre-load the beta. Weirdly enough though, PC owners won’t have to download the full version when the game releases while its console counterparts will have to take the extra step.
Fallout 76 will be available on November 14, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
