The fan favorite title will also release a demo of the game the same day. Alongside the release of the 7th next month, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will also be releasing on the same day.
Despite Nintendo having the opportunity to reveal the title during a previous Direct, the remaster will also be coming to Steam on top of the Nintendo eShop. Bandai Namco has not mentioned if the original PlayStation 2 exclusive will eventually come to other platforms like Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

For whenever the classic title comes to other major platforms it is appreciated to have the title return reworked for modern platforms.
Katamari Damacy Reroll will be available not only for Nintendo Switch, but on PC as well.
