The update that many people have been waiting for is almost here. It started development last year and now it is in the final testing phase. Yes, that is correct. Minecraft Bedrock 1.9 is officially in cert testing for all platforms.


Sadly, it is very hard to specify when an update will complete the certification process or if it will even pass so we cannot predict a release date. Fingers crossed for another week or two but I wouldn’t put money on it. The 1.9 update is not guaranteed to pass on all platforms as well. The update could fail on 1 platform which could hold the entire update back.
