Halo Infinite, starting off the Xbox E3 conference has had fans wanting more and of course that leads to more questions. With rumors swirling about the next generation Xbox console being announced as soon as this coming E3 known as code name “Anaconda”, the number one question for the next Halo title is will it be the title to launch alongside the next console?

343 Industries Frank O’Connor was mentioned on twitter because due to some leaks it just seemed like Infinite would only launch on Anaconda and not the current generation Xbox console. If it was only going to launch on the next generation console it would more than likely be a 2020 or 2021 launch. Frank denied that and has stated that the game will launch on Xbox One and appropriately spec’d PC’s.

Halo Infinite could still be released at the same time as Anaconda, but would be available on the Xbox One as well so they won’t have to leave out the previous generation. This coming E3 we will more than likely see more about the next Halo title and we could possibly get an idea when the game will release as many of us are expecting a long wait to continue Master Chief’s journey.

Unlike Halo 5, Infinite will include 4-player split-screen which was confirmed by Bonnie Ross. In other Halo related news, the long awaited Television show has gotten a new director and the plan is to start filming later this year.

Next week at SXSW there will be an exciting Halo: The Master Chief Collection announcement and many fans have a feeling its a PC version of the game being revealed.

Stay tuned for more Halo news and content.
