Developer Bloober Team revealed Blair Witch to reinvigorate the universe of the original film with a new and unique experience with the then-upcoming game when shown off at this year’s Microsoft press conference back in June. While the game launch later on in late August, we thought the trail ended at Xbox One and PC, but now that looks not to be the case for this year’s survival horror.
The Polish studio announced earlier this week that the game will be migrating to PlayStation 4 the first week of December. Furthermore adding on that the game will also be expecting a physical version as well later on, expected sometime in 2020.
“Bloober Team in partnership with global content leader Lionsgate calls you back to the woods with the upcoming release of Blair Witch on the PlayStation 4,” the team reveals in the latest blog post. “The updated Blair Witch, which will first be available for digital download and later via physical retail versions.”
In celebration of the game’s upcoming debut on Sony’s platform, Bloober Team also revealed a new collective of cosmetic packs for the game as well. Announcing the Good Boy Pack, this in-game add-on will include new looks for Bullet alongside a bevy of cell phone games, wallpapers, and in-depth animations to make your canine companion look more lifelike. The DLC is said to be available for not only PlayStation 4, but also for Xbox and PC: pricing has yet to be disclosed if users will have to purchase it or will be a free client.
