It was just last month that users online uncovered images regarding the next UFC title from Electronic Arts, EA Sports UFC 4. At the time of reporting, it was suspected that the publisher would officially show off the game later on in the coming week via the rescheduled EA Play Live showcase, however, the game did not show its face during the presentation.

Now just a month after the initial reporting, Electronic Arts has officially revealed EA Sports UFC 4. In the press release that was sent simultaneously alongside the reveal trailer for the new title, EA Sports shares that the new title will feature two cover athletes. In that, the firm discloses that Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya and Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal will both pose on the cover of the new game.

You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

Creative Director, Brian Hayes For EA Sports UFC 4 tells the game to be “the most authentic MMA game ever.” He adds, “We’ve created a visceral fighting experience that allows players to create their own UFC legacy with Create a Fighter, explore the origins of MMA through our new fighting grounds and be in full control of every strike and takedown with our overhauled core gameplay mechanics.”

In the announcement, Electronic Arts tells that EA Sports UFC 4 will arrive later this summer for current-gen Xbox and PlayStation. The reveal illustrates to undermine the upcoming next-generation systems that its sibling franchises – FIFA & Madden – are both respectively coming to at launch. However, that is not the entire story. Shortly after the announcement, it was discovered that the game was listed on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) for both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Fans that decide to pre-order EA Sports UFC 4 will also receive the newest additions to the game’s roster: Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Are you excited that the next UFC title is finally coming this year?

EA Sports UFC 4 arrive on August 14, 2020 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4; listed for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
