The video demonstration gives you a better idea of what Project Q looks like and how the touch screen works. They do scroll through the app screens from what it looks like, but it doesn’t present anything intriguing.
Sony’s Project Q features an 8-inch HD screen and is capable of playing games up to 1080p 60fps. The device delivers crisp visuals and smooth gameplay streamed from your PlayStation 5 when you’re away from your TV. It features buttons from the DualSense wireless controller, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. A name has yet to be announced by Sony for it, but we assume that could come soon ahead of the Holiday season.
In other PlayStation news, Sony is prepared to release a PlayStation 5 Pro in 2024 and have been working on it since 2022. Development kits of the upgraded console will be given to studios this November.
