Alan Wake II will be at Gamescom Opening Night Live

Remedy Entertainment revealed a few weeks ago that Alan Wake II will be getting shown off at Gamescom 2023 and at the time we didn’t know what that meant. Remedy officially announced they will be showcasing more of Alan Wake II during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 22 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET.

The new reveal for Alan Wake II will show more of Alan Wake’s side of the story.

“Alan Wake II begins with Anderson coming to investigate the murders in Bright Falls with her veteran fellow agent Alex Casey. After certain events have transpired, fans can play Wake and Anderson’s respective stories in any order they choose. Their journeys echo and foreshadow each other, in this intense atmospheric story, taking players on two separate dark and disturbing paths.”

Remedy Entertainment shared that Alan Wake II will have a digital-only release as it enables the team “more time to polish” ahead of release.

Alan Wake II releases on October 17, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XlS and PC.
