Apollo gives the ” Building a Library” quest in Arc Raiders. This NPC asks you to collect three books from the Library in the Center City in a single round. Accept the quest from Apollo after you’ve progressed enough in his questline. It’s wise to have a Safe Pocket or otherwise secure items you collect so that a death doesn’t wipe out the progress.
After you’ve collected all three books, make your exit. Don’t linger. The Library area is filled with Arc machines and other players. Choose an extract point like a metro station, hatch, or elevator, based on the current situation. Turn in the quest back in Speranza to claim your rewards. How to Complete Building a Library Quest
Building a Library quest in Arc Raiders is available to you from Apollo after completing Lance’s Tea Party. This quest gives you access to the Buried City Town Hall.
Below are all the objectives you need to complete in one round.
- Locate the Library in the City Center
- Find one romance book
- Find one detective book
- Find one adventure book
Make your way to the Library in Buried City. Find the adventure and the detective book on the second floor. Passing through the stairs allows you to come across the adventure book on the little bookshelf on the right side. Continue moving forward. Past the bigger bookshelf, there will be another smaller bookshelf, which you interact with to pick up the detective book.
For the Romance Book, it’s actually downstairs. It’s over the bookshelves that have kind of fallen by the window. It can be a bit hard to spot, especially at lower resolutions. The book actually doesn’t render until you get a little bit closer. There’s a substation right underneath, which you can extract because you will need to do so. You must extract three books from there to complete this mission.
Locate the Library in the City Center
Move all the way to the northern side of the Buried City map to find the Library in Arc Raiders. This location is near the Hospital and parking Garage. Make sure to equip Looting MK. 2 to get access to two Safe Pockets. You can store the books in these two Safe Pockets. If you die before the extraction, then these books will be gone if you don’t add them to Safe Pockets.
I recommend carrying a powerful weapon like an Anvil before heading out. You will encounter Hornets and Arc units area this area, so it’s best to have the strong weapons.
How to Find All the Books
Move to the ground floor entrance to get inside the Library. Continue moving straight to find the first bookshelf. Interacting with it allows you to acquire the Romance Book. After that, take the stairs to move to the upper floor. Get ready to deal with the Fireballs over here.
Search near the wall on the upper level to locate another bookshelf. Interact with it to gain the Detective Book. Make your way to the end of this room near the stairs to find another bookshelf. Get your hands on the Adventure Book by interacting with it.
Extract Safely
It’s time to secure the extraction run after collecting the three books. Move all the way to the metro station for extraction. This area is located just beside the Library, approximately 70 meters ahead. You will come across the Fireball Arcs while getting inside the subway station. Call the metro and move back to the Speranza after reaching the underground section. Doing so allows you to complete the Building a Library quest in Arc Raiders.
