The Ancient Fort Cellar puzzle in Arc Raiders tasks the players to locate the three batteries scattered around the Ancient Fort area on the Blue Gate map. These batteries are spawned randomly, so you need to check every location to find them. Each battery must be carried to and inserted into a fuse box at specific locations.
Once all three batteries are inserted, the basement door next to the fort will unlock, giving access to the loot room. Once inserted, be quick to head to the cellar before others grab the loot. Inside the cellar, you’ll find crates, materials, and sometimes rare gear or blueprint drops. Ancient Fort Cellar Puzzle Solution
There’s a secret room with top-tier loot on the Blue Gate map in Arc Raiders. Go to the farmlands in the southern part of the map near the Olive Grove. Here, you’ll find the Ancient Fort, a busted-up building with antennas and satellite dishes on the top of it. This stone structure has a puzzle that opens a locked hatch to a room with a weapon case, weapon blueprints, and epic loot. To open the hatch, you’ll need three fuel cells, and they’re scattered around the fort. Below are the locations of all the fuse boxes in the fort.
- The southernmost wall of the fort.
- Second floor of the tower inside the fort.
- Third floor of the fort on the northern side.
Follow the wires coming from the cellar to find the fuse boxes. The goal is to find and insert all the missing power cells into their correct fuse boxes to restore power to the fort.
How To Open the Locked Door in the Ancient Fort
You need to collect three batteries scattered around the fort to unlock the basement door in Ancient Fort. These batteries are then inserted into the three electric boxes. You can find these fuse foxes on the first, second, and third floors of the fort.
However, the spawn locations of these batteries are somewhat random. They are confirmed to be in the abandoned ruins of the Ancient Fort. The location of the fuse boxes remains the same. Make sure to follow the black wires on the ground to locate the fuse boxes inside the fort.
First Battery
You can locate the first battery in the ruined building to the left of the Ancient Fort with a small tower. Pick up the battery from the southern wall of the fort from the ruined building with the small tower. The fuse box is located on the fort’s wall.
These batteries have the same size as the Field Crates, so they can’t be stored in your inventory. You need to carry them, meaning your movement will be slow and your stamina will be drained quickly.
Second Battery
The second battery is located at the ruined building to the northeast of the fort. Move in a straight direction from the first fuse and go to the left to find the two abandoned buildings. You can find the battery inside the second building.
This battery is located beside a metal shelf. You need to pick up the battery and make your way to the second floor of the fort. Locate the fuse box inside the metal cart and inside the battery in it.
Third Battery
The battery is located inside the fort, so you don’t have the find it somewhere else. You can acquire it from the dark room with the orange/yellow cloth. Make your way through the entrance of the fort and move to the right into the dark room. Pick up the battery and take it to the third floor of floor to insert it in the fuse box over there.
Secret Cellar Door Location
Make your way to the basement door after all the fuseboxes are powered up. You need to drop down to the right to find the secret basement door. Go down the ladder into the basement once you gain access to the cellar. Go down and collect the valuable loot from the area. You can collect Advanced Electrical Components from the top of computers and other electrical and medical items.
Keep in mind that three batteries will spawn, so make sure to check the following locations in Arc Raiders.
- Located along the southwestern road.
- Located on the northern road, leading down into the town.
- Inside the ruined house to the northwest of the fort.
- Located in the northern ruined house between Ancient Fort and Broken Earth.
- Inside the ruins of the house that’s southeast of the fort by the zipline.
- Inside the fort, inside the room with all the breachable containers.
- Located in a ruined house directly north of the fort.
- Southwest of the fort, inside the abandoned house.
- East of the fort, inside the ruined house with all the satellite dishes.
- At the top of the tower in the fort.
- Located west of the fort inside the ruined building.
The Ancient Fort is far away from here, so most probably you will not come across a lot of ARC enemies outside of Wasps, Hornets, and Snitches. However, you can encounter a Leaper or a Bombadeer in the northwest of the fort.
