Field Crates in ARC Raiders are large carry-objects found around the map that you pick up and deliver to a location to get rewards. You unlock loot, and often the Depot also has a crate puzzle after handing one in at a Depot’s Supply Station. Field Depots appear on all main maps. Field Crates spawn near the Depots, but the exact spawn point is very random. Carry it to the Depot Supply Station and hand it in.
Interact with the Supply Station console to complete the delivery and collect the reward. The delivery gives you items like ammo, gadgets, grenades, and weapons via Field Depot Drop. The Depot building may not show on your map until you’re fairly close. On maps like Dam Battlegrounds, avoid high-traffic locations near Depots if you want to avoid PvP fights.
What are Field Crates
Let’s unpack what Field Crates are and why they’re worth the risk. These are small, shiny metallic boxes scattered across any map in ARC Raiders. Think of them as portable treasure chests you have to lug back to base. They’re not auto loot. You pick them up, carry them up —which ties up your hands and slows you down —and deliver them to a supply station for the payout.
Rewards aren’t detailed in every run, but expect components, upgrades, or rare items that boost your gear or stash. The catch, carrying one leaves you vulnerable. No shooting back while hauling, so it’s a high-risk, high-reward play.
Where to Find Field Crates
They’re often in high loot zones near a Field Depot, so combine crate hunts with general scavenging for efficiency. Field Crates are sneaky but predictable. They spawn on any map, but shine in high-value loot areas like the Control Tower in the Damn Battlegrounds map. It’s a hot spot for easy finds. Look on the ground in corners, inside buildings, or tucked in cabinets. They’re metallic and stand out once you’re close.

No fixed spots, but urban ruins or control points are your best bets. Scout them early in the match before squads converge. You can find a Field Depot right outside the Power Generation Complex. The Field Crate is located inside the complex at the corner. The Hydropinic Dome Complex also has two crates inside the abandoned buildings. Make sure to check the depot in the middle. Finish another quest here by looting the ARC courier.
Get your hands on the two Field Crates from the Water Treatment Control. Move to the east side beside the Loading Bay to find the Field Depot. Find the other Field Depot in the southern swamp area in Arc Raiders. There’s a Field Crate just beside the Field Depot here.
There are four Field Crates in the Water Towers and Electrical Substation. Take the crates to the depot in the center of these areas. Locate a Field Depot in the Lower Gallery on west of the Testing Annex. Get your hands on the other Field Crate from the west side from here.
How To Deliver a Field Crate
Drop into a map of your choice and gear up quickly. You’ll need weapons to clear paths. Head to a high loot area like the control tower and clear out threats, bots, or players to move freely without getting jumped. You need to search thoroughly. Check ground level, corners, and cabinets for the small metallic box, and interact prompts pop when you’re near. Make sure to pick it up and interact with the button.
Now it’s in your hands, slowing you and blocking attacks. You must transport it to any supply station on the map marked on your HUD and avoid fights if possible. Interact with the station to deposit and claim your rewards. Make sure to extract safely to keep the gains.
While specifics vary, field crates often drop crafting components, rare attachments, or exclusive items that tie into your upgrades. Think about stuff to boost your weapons or utilities for tougher raids. The thrill isn’t the surprise, but consistent deliveries snowball your progression.
Complete Off The Radar Quest
Off The Radar Quest is Arc Raiders, which is received from the Shani. Make sure to locate a Field Depot to complete this mission. Use the ladder to move to the top of the Field Depot and repair the antennae. Simply extract and speak with the Shani to gain the rewards.
Complete Down To Earth Quest
Shani will ask you to install a Field Crate into a Field Depot after completing the Off the Radar quest in Arc Raiders. Locate the Field Crates usually near a Field Depot, like we discussed earlier. You need to take the Field Crate to the depot and install it. Press the E key to interact with the Field Crate once you find it. Doing so allows you to complete the quest and gain the rewards.
