Discover everything you need to know about the complete Expedition 3 Requirements guide for Arc Raiders, including how to get the required materials.

Expedition 3 is the third cycle of the Expedition system that unlocks at a higher level and repeats the cycle in Arc Raiders. Each stage requires materials and loot value submissions, like metal parts, wires, and Arc components. You farm resources over weeks and store materials in your stash to donate them. Just like other Expeditions, it also has a limited-time window. Each completed Expedition makes your next run slightly stronger, but getting the materials can be challenging. In this complete Expedition 3 Requirements guide, we cover how it works and rewards, including some crucial tips & tricks in Arc Raiders.

When is the Arc Raiders Expedition 3 Window

Expedition 3 in Arc Raiders is scheduled to take place from April 28, 2026, running for roughly two weeks until May 11, 2026. The duration of this event is initially 5 days to sign up and complete requirements. This requires you to sign up and complete the Expedition challenge – otherwise, you miss the cycle. Recent updates from Embark extended the challenge duration, giving you more time to finish the new challenge system.

Expedition 3 Window

Expedition 3 was supposed to end on May 4, 2026, but we now have more time. Your objective during this duration is to complete the requirements for this expedition. Get ready to gather old and new materials from various sources. Expedition 3 no longer rewards stash value, as it’s based on damage dealt during the event. You need to deal 100,000 total damage to max rewards. Even though Expedition 3 is damage-based, you still need materials for the Expedition Project stages.

How Expedition 3 Works

Expedition 3 is part of Arc Raiders’ seasonal wipe-and-reward system. You prepare your rider to join the expedition, and your character resets at the end. The Damage Challenge is the heart of Expedition 3, so prefer dealing damage using a weapon or any gadget. The 100,000 total damage is somehow equal to destroying 20 Bastions.

How Expedition 3 Works

Finish the Expedition Project before the challenge appears, and then the damage challenge unlocks automatically. Keep in mind that the damage is not shared, so each player must earn their own total. Your objective is to play aggressively without worrying about survival because the damage counts even if you die or don’t extract.

Completing the challenge allows you to gain 5 permanent skill points, cosmetics, and stash upgrades. If you miss the main window, you can still join late, but with no skill points and basic rewards. You must complete the first four Stages by donating the required materials. Stage 5 is all about donating multiple items to fill up the Expedition Pod storage. Wait until the expedition window opens and then sign up in the Project tab.

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
