ARC Raiders reached 12 million players

Developer and Publisher Embark Studios announced that since the launch of ARC Raiders, it has received over 12 million players. The developer crafted a special gift to celebrate having 10 million, and it blew right past that during the Holiday break.

To celebrate the occasion, any Raider who logged in since its launch until January 13 will automatically be gifted the prestigious Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool when an update arrives today.

“We’re so proud and humbled by your love for ARC Raiders, and we can’t wait to continue the journey with you all as we kick off the New Year!”

In November, ARC Raiders hit 4 million copies sold, and it has grown large since then by gaining at least 8 million players. Extraction Shooters are slowly becoming the new battle royale, thanks to the release of ARC Raiders leading the way.
