2K and Turtle Rock Studios have announced today that Evolve will be getting some new additions on March 31st. The Behemoth monster, which is as big as the game could possibly allow it to be, and four new hunters are being added to the fray. Two new maps in the previously mentioned Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry are also included along with the Observer mode.

In Observer mode, a sixth player will be able to passively (active players won’t know) enter a game and switch between all five views of the current players in game as well as see real time stats such as health, odds of survival, etc. Each of the characters will see one new addition per class and can be seen with some descriptions along with a refresher of the Behemoth trailer from a couple months ago. Let us know what you think below

Torvald – Assault – Half Cyborg half human armed with Mortar Cannons, Shrapnel Grenades and auto fire shotgun

Crow – Trapper – With his fellow Batray pet named Gobi, Crow has two weapons. One is a Stasis gun which slows the monster down for a time period dependent on the strength of the shot. The other is a Kinetic long rifle which can be auto fired or charged, with a charged shot wiping out the monsters armor entirely

Slim – Medic – Non human, fly like medic equipped with a Spore Cloud launcher which eliminates the monsters sense of smell and enables him to get in close for an attack. A healing drone can also be sent from afar to aid enemies when your path is blocked

Sunny – Support – Armed with the most powerful projectile weapon in the game in her grenade launcher, Sunny also has a shield drone which can protect enemies far away as well as a jet pack boost. This can allow Sunny to fly teammates out of harms way.

Evolve is available now on Xbox One and PS4 as well as PC.
